Falcon’s Ledge is the perfect location to learn to fly fish or to improve your skills. Our exceptional instructors can help anyone progress in their fly fishing. Whether you are a beginner who would like to get into the sport, or a more skilled angler looking to progress to another level, we have the knowledge and expertise to help. We provide all the newest ORVIS® equipment, fantastic amenities, and a beautiful setting for the ultimate fly fishing school. Our on-the-water instruction and practice on actual fish can't be duplicated on a city lawn or parking lot. We are excited to assist beginners catch their first fish on a fly and we can help intermediate and even expert flyfishers perfect their skills.

ONE DAY PRIVATE FLY FISHING SCHOOL
For those who have always wanted to try fly fishing, our one day school is the perfect chance for you to learn fly fishing basics and to get a good start on your fly fishing journey. With a private school you’ll have a 1 to 1 instructor to student ratio or 1 to 2 for couples or friends and the chance to experience the thrill of landing big fish on a fly rod. We provide a perfect learning environment with a relaxed atmosphere and instruction that goes at your pace. We’ll cover all the basics and help you to actually catch fish in our private stillwaters. You will be hooked.  

ONE DAY TWO NIGHT FLY FISHING SCHOOL $695.00 per student, maximum two students per instructor.

Includes: One day instruction, two nights lodging, meals, all needed equipment

THREE DAY PRIVATE FLY FISHING SCHOOL
If you want to learn fly fishing in depth or would like to improve your skills with an expert instructor, this three day intensive class will provide the knowledge and skills you’ll need to fly fish for trout and other species in various situations around the world. You’ll cover fly fishing and fly casting in depth and will have a 1 to 1 instructor to student ratio or 1 to 2 for couples or friends and the chance to experience the thrill of landing big fish in both lakes and streams on a fly rod..

THREE DAY FOUR NIGHT FLY FISHING SCHOOL $2,085.00 per student,maximum two students per instructor.

Includes: Three days instruction, four nights lodging, meals, all needed equipment, Utah fishing license

• Stillwater and river fishing techniques

• How to read the water and locate fish
• Stream entomology (bugs)

ONE DAY GROUP FLY FISHING CLASSES $195.00 per student, includes lunch
For those who would like a taste of fly fishing, maybe to see if you would be interested, or for those who may need just a kick start our group day schools are perfect. We have 2 schools scheduled for Spring 2008 and we can schedule more if there is more demand. These schools provide a basic knowledge of fly fishing and fly casting and are taught with a 1 to 4 instructor to student ratio. Call for dates and availability.
