The beautiful and diverse 600 acre private canyon at Falcon’s Ledge provides a perfect sanctuary for dozens of bird species. The eight private lakes, high desert environment, and large cliffs provide a perfect environment for a wide variety of waterfowl species, falcons, hawks, owls, woodpecker species, passerines, shore birds, and upland species. With the Ashley National Forest just north of the lodge the bird watching opportunities are endless. It can be done with the naked eye, through a visual enhancement device like binoculars and telescopes, or by listening for bird sounds.
