First Snowfall

img_3855 Well, We’ve finally received our first change in weather last week. We’ve been waiting for this change for a while in anticipation that the fishing would improve. The temperatures dropped and it seemed as though winter had finally come. On our last outing during the first cold spell proved to be very successful. We set out a little later than we normally depart because of the cold temps and that one of our buddies likes to sleep in. As we reached our destination it looked like the fishing was going to be a great day. The air was crisp and there was nobody in sight. The first fish was an incredible brown. It put up a good fight and finally made its way to the net. A nice healthy 24″ brown. The next few fish were incredible as well and it didn’t even matter that it was cold. We didn’t have time to think about it. img_3853 As the day came to an end we caught one nice chunky rainbow. It’s always nice fishing this time of year because the rainbows are out. It’s nice to get a few rainbows mixed in with the browns. Make sure to get out and battle through the cold this year. You won’t regret it. img_3856]]>
