The winter at Falcon’s Ledge Lodge is one of our favorite times of the year. The lodge is quiet, the snow blankets the ground and makes for spectacular scenery and peaceful ambience, and the recreation opportunities are endless. Families can come to Falcon’s Ledge in the winter and fish the rivers, ice fish on the lakes, pheasant hunt in the Duchesne River Valley, sled, ice skate, hike, ride ATVs, and much more. The Duchesne River is a fantastic winter fishery, and you will probably not see another fisherman all day. The brown trout are eager to hit streamers and midges all winter long and fishing this river in the winter has become on of our favorite things to do. The ice fishing right on the property is great family fun and the hungry trout in our private lakes are eager to jump on nymphs and jigs. Children and adults both have a lot of fun catching fish through the ice in the winter at Falcon’s Ledge Lodge. Those that want to do other activities can sled on the hills, ice skate on the lakes, or hike in the privacy and safety of the Falcon’s Ledge canyon. The large hot tub on the back patio and the fireplace on the main floor is waiting for anyone that needs to get warm.
The luxurious lodge offers all the modern amenities and is one of the top fishing lodges in Utah. It has a great game room downstairs, WIFI, flat-screen TVs, and large, comfortable rooms with their own private bathrooms. In the winter families can rent out the entire lodge for one low price and have the entire lodge, canyon, and eight private lakes to themselves.
