Filmmaker Gilbert Rowley and his friend Chris felt so bad about losing their fishing buddy Kohler to other pursuits that they decided to do something about it. So they devised an adventure that would surely jump-start Kohler’s return to fly fishing. That’s the plot of this killer film, which took top honors in the 2019 International Fly Fishing Film Festival. The scenes of night-fishing are simply stunning, and the trout they catch ain’t half bad, either. Trust me: you haven’t seen fishing like this before.
