At Falcon’s Ledge fly fishing lodge in Utah we love the fall season. Fall is a magical time in Utah. The leaves have changed and the autumn colors on the mountainside are beautiful. The mountain tops have a dusting of snow and the white snow combined with the yellow and red leaves provide a gorgeous backdrop to fantastic fall pheasant hunting and trout fishing.
The opportunities for pheasant hunting and fly fishing at Falcon’s Ledge are endless during the fall season. Starting September 15 Falcon’s Ledge’s Orvis pheasant hunting grounds open in the Duchesne River Valley for pheasant hunting. The pheasant hunting grounds are thousands of acres of upland bird habitat managed exclusively for pheasants and chukar partridge. It is the perfect place to spend the morning chasing upland birds with well-trained bird dogs. The warm afternoons provide the perfect opportunity for great fall fishing. Falcon’s Ledge has some of the best private fishing waters in Utah and guests can choose to fish for large trout on private fishing lakes around the lodge or venture out to the nearby trout rivers.
The fall is perfect for corporate retreats and business groups in Utah. Whether your group enjoys bird hunting, fishing, or just relaxing by the fire in the lodge playing cards, the fall season has it all. It is no wonder that many corporate retreat groups love coming to Falcon’s Ledge Lodge in the fall and reserve their dates over a year in advance to make sure they get out to enjoy the private fly fishing waters and Orvis pheasant hunting this magnificent time of year.
