Here are a few ideas on how to take advantage of the fall fishing and pheasant hunting before it ends.
Come out for a day with family or friends and pheasant hunt in the morning and fish in the afternoon. We often get groups from Utah or Salt Lake County that come out first thing in the morning and hunt pheasants for 3 to 4 hours with a guide and dogs. At the pheasant hunting preserve there is a nice clubhouse that serves a great lunch. After lunch a professional fly-fishing guide will take your group to catch fish on the local rivers or our private lakes. After an afternoon of fishing, groups can grab a bite for dinner and return home. This is a great opportunity for groups for family and friends to enjoy the spectacular fishing and pheasant hunting in the fall even if they only have one day.
Groups that have multiple days can rent a couple rooms in the lodge or larger groups can rent the entire lodge. This is the perfect time of year to spend a couple of days at the lodge. Groups can spend some time pheasant hunting and enjoying the great fall fishing. There is so much great fishing and pheasant hunting in October and November groups that stay two or three days will be able to fish rivers, lakes, and get in a morning or two of pheasant hunting.
