We are in the middle of the pheasant hunting season at Falcon’s Ledge Lodge. The season begins in September and ends in late March on bird hunting preserves in Utah. It is a wonderful time of year to get outdoors and enjoy some bird hunting, fishing, and other outdoor activities with your family and friends. In this blog we will share some of our favorite outdoor activities to do at Falcon’s Ledge during the bird hunting season in Utah.
The bird hunting season in Utah begins in September. The weather is still warm and it is a great time of year for people that like warm, mild weather. September and October is a beautiful time of year for groups that want to enjoy mild weather and bird hunt and fish during their outdoor vacation at Falcon’s Ledge. The end of September and first part of October is last of the dry fly fishing for the year and is a beautiful time of year to be outdoors with the gorgeous fall colors and the aggressive brown and brook trout during this time of year.
In late October the weather gets cooler and the season transitions from the end of summer to the fall. This is an amazing time of year for bird hunting. The cool, crisp mornings and the active pheasants make this an ideal time of year for groups of friends and corporate groups to come and spend time hunting pheasants and Falcon’s Ledge. From late October to December the bird hunting is exceptional and the fishing is still good. Family and friends can still come out and enjoy time hunting and fishing on the same trip to Falcon’s Ledge. It is a perfect time of year to spend a few days at Falcon’s Ledge hunting pheasants and fishing for big trout.
During the winter months from December to March the weather is chilly, but the pheasant hunting is hot. All winter long the pheasant hunting is great at Falcon’s Ledge and it is a great time of year for groups to get outdoors and enjoy time hunting behind good hunting dogs and watching pheasants explode from the bushes and tall grasses. This is a great time to come pheasant hunt for groups that enjoy privacy and great pheasant hunting with their friends and family.
