There are two months left in the Utah pheasant hunting season at Falcon’s Ledge. It has been a great season and the weather has cooperated to make it almost perfect conditions for pheasant hunting in eastern Utah this winter. The snow has been falling in the mountains and there has been very little snow and mild temperatures at Falcon’s Ledge’s pheasant hunting preserve in Pleasant Valley.
Falcon’s Ledge’s Pleasant Valley Hunting Preserve is one of the best pheasant hunting preserves in the United States. This 3,000-acre preserve is in the Duchesne River wetlands in eastern Utah. The preserve is a wonderful mix of wetlands, irrigated farmland, and upland habitat. The preserve is full of wild pheasants and other wildlife. The experience of hunting at the preserve is an amazing chance to see beautiful terrain and wildlife and the thrill of hunting birds.
Pheasant hunting is an amazing sport. Highly trained dogs search through the wetlands and upland terrain for wily pheasants as they hide among thickets and brush. It is exhilarating and awe inspiring to watch these beautiful dogs run through the brush and cattails sniffing the ground. When these amazing dogs find a pheasant, the world explodes and the pheasant bursts into the air. The shots ring out and the pheasant falls into the brush. The dogs excitedly lunge into the brush and retrieve the pheasant. The pheasants are beautiful and one of our favorite parts of the day is to enjoy the beauty of the colors in a pheasant’s feathers.
The Falcon’s Ledge Lodge is a beautiful 8-bedroom lodge at the base of the Uinta Mountains. It is a perfect Utah pheasant hunting lodge for small to medium groups of hunters. All the bedrooms have private bathrooms, and the beautiful lodge has great views of the Uinta Mountains and is set in a private canyon for excellent privacy and solitude. The lodge has excellent spaces for relaxing around the fire and playing pool and ping pong in the game room.
We hope to see you soon at Falcon’s Ledge Lodge for some Utah pheasant hunting!
